  24. The Warren Buffett Way (3rd Edition) - Robert G. Hagstrom, Updated 19 May 2018

This list also serves as reference and a bibliography to my blog. It will be updated from time to time when I picked up new books.

For the Clueless, I suggest starting with these:
  • Learn to Earn - Lynch
  • All About Value Investing - Faeber
While most people would suggest The Intelligent Investor, which is dubbed the best investment book ever and my the very first investment book I bought, I prefer to start with a 'all about' book.

For the Casual Beginner, I would suggest the following:
  • Common Stocks Uncommon Profits - Fisher
  • The Little Book of Value Investing - Christopher H. Browne
  • Warren Buffet's Ground Rules - Jeremy Miller
  • The Intelligent Investor - Graham
Most, if not all, of these books are on value investing concepts. I would have listed the Berkshire Hathaway's shareholder letters, but I found that the Warren Buffet's Ground Rules by Jeremy Miller is a good summary and alternative.

For the more advanced topics, I would suggest the following:

  • The Little Book That Still Beats The Market - Joel Greenblatt
  • The Little Book of Valuation - Aswath Damodaran
  • Security Analysis - Graham, Dodd (I have two versions of this...)
  • Financial Statement Analysis - Fridson, Alverez
The Little Books are easy to read and Joel Greenblatt's is really an eye-opener to me. Security Analysis is the other must-read books although some of the ideas may not be applicable to today's context.

The good-to-haves:

  • Warren Buffett and the Interpretation of Financial Statements - Mary Buffett and David Clark
  • Buffett and Beyond - Belmonte
  • A compilation of Berkshire Hathaway's letters to shareholders till 2012 (the latest compilation can be bought from Amazon, otherwise, you can download from Berkshire Hathaway's website)
  • Investments - Bodie, Kain, Marcus, Jane (Textbook)
